“And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.”

Reflect on your recent encounters with God’s Word, internalize its truths, and share them with others as you would recount a delightful meal at a restaurant. Consider if the Word of God sparks the same enthusiasm in you that good news does. If not, reflect on what needs to change.
Lord God, give me the courage today to pass along Your truth and commands. To a friend. A relative. A co-worker. Maybe a stranger. And let me live a life today that shows Your presence in every aspect of my heart and mind. Let people encounter You not only in my words, but in my life. Help me share Your love and Your ways diligently to everyone You place in my path. Impress Your precepts on their minds and penetrate their hearts with Your truths. Speak to everyone I meet when I sit in my house, when I walk down the road, when I lie down, and when I get up. May I always and forever be an expression of who You are to everyone I encounter. I offer and pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
