There’s a lot of conflict these days about what is truth, isn’t there? Rumors, false accusations, so many sides pitted against each other. It’s exhausting and crushing to our souls. So take a few deep breaths. Imagine the weight of your worries dropping away with each exhale. Now, consider this: the Bible offers a message of hope and liberation through the essential truth about Jesus Christ.
Feel the tension ease as you reflect on Jesus’ arrival. He wasn’t a conquering warrior, but a divine sacrifice, sent to redeem humanity from sin. This essential truth of Christianity is the foundation of faith. Acknowledge your doubts to God, and allow His Spirit to gently guide you into this truth.
Matthew 1:21 tells us from the very beginning why Jesus came:
“She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.”
Matthew 1:21
The Bible tells us that Jesus is the only path to salvation. As Peter boldly declared, there is “no other name under heaven by which we must be saved.” Let this truth resonate within you. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal Jesus’ dual nature—fully God and fully man, the Savior of the world. Thank Him for His sacrifice. Jesus’ love is constant. No matter the storms you face, hold onto the hope of His perfect sacrifice.
Jesus, You saved me from my sin; You saved me from wrath and misery, both now and forever. Because you came and gave me grace, peace reigns in my soul. No matter what happens in this broken world, I can hold tightly to hope because you forged a path to heaven with Your perfect sacrifice. Help me to focus on the essential truth that You, God, truly came in flesh, You died and rose for me, and You reign as King in heaven. In Your Name alone be glory and honor forever, Amen.
Jesus came to forgive, not to conquer. As John 3:17 says, “For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.” Let gratitude wash over you for this incredible gift. Is there someone in your life who needs to hear this message of hope? Share this essential truth with them.
